Appreciating the past increases our ability to manage our present. • We cannot change past events, only the effects they have on us. • The problem is not the problem. Coping is the problem. •
Page J. Littlewood, MS, LMFT, CPA

Page J. Littlewood is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and CPA working with families, couples, individuals and small businesses. Page has over twenty five years experience in the arena of business consulting and team building and now pursues her passion of supporting families and relationships at Satir Systems. Her work is relationship focused working under the assumption that in our relationships, we find meaning in our lives, and in the lack of fulfilling relationships, our heartache is born.  She believes that in the business of going about our lives, our relationships depict our life’s work, if not purpose.

Her training includes a concentration in Medical Family Therapy. She has experience using the Satir Model with chronic illness in the context of pancreatic cancer at Duke University Medical Center with clients, families and clinicians.

She is currently studying Emotionally Focused Therapy and its combination with the Satir Model. Emotionally Focused Therapy emphasizes the role of emotions and their interpersonal impact in recreating the supportive bonds between individuals within the context of couples and families.

Page is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Satir Institute of the Southeast.
