Satir Systems Programs are affiliated with the Satir Institute of the Southeast, Inc., an affiliate of The Virginia Satir Global Network. The Satir Institute of the Southeast, Inc. is a non profit educational corporation and an affiliate of Avanta: The Virginia Satir Network. It was founded by a group of professionals in the southeast who had studied extensively with Satir. Its mission is to provide education, training and consultation services to individuals, groups, families, organization, and communities in the Virginia Satir human growth model. The Institute is governed by a board of five and operates with an executive director. Current board members are Danny Cameron, Martha Carmichael, Carol Holcomb, Ruth Ouimette, and Jane Preyer. The director position is held by Regina Ragan.

In addition to training, there is a Chapel Hill-based Satir Resource Center where individuals can come to study and review Satir video tapes and reading materials has been developed.
