Practitioner Program


The goal of this program is to develop competent Satir System practitioners and leaders who can operate in the contexts of their choice -- clinical, personal, or organizational. A prior introduction to the basic beliefs of the Satir system is a prerequisite. Participants who successfully complete the program are able to teach and apply core elements of the model. The format includes 2 intensive residentials with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions each six days in length. Participants must commit to the programs a year long training event.

The location of the Practitioner Program is to be announced. For pre and post stays, please visit the Chapel Hill Carrboro Chamber of Commerce website. Sessions begin on Wednesday at 5:00 PM and end on Monday at 1:00 PM. AAMFT Supervision hours and NBCC credits are available. A successful completion certificate indicating number of contact hours is also provided.

 
 
The payment schedule is due as follows:
 
Fees to be set at a later date - (2002 regular payment was $4,008)
Early Bird - Full payment is due four months prior to the beginning of the program/discount $200
Regular - Payment is due 60 days prior to the beginning of the program.
Flexible payment plan by arrangement increases the fee by $200.
Deposit equals to 1/3 of the total fee and is due with application.
 
The fee includes tuition, training materials and room and board for all sessions. Single
occupancy is an additional cost on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited to 24
participants.
