The goal of this program is to develop competent Satir System practitioners and leaders who can operate in the contexts of their choice -- clinical, personal, or organizational. A prior introduction to the basic beliefs of the Satir system is a prerequisite. Participants who successfully complete the program are able to teach and apply core elements of the model. The format includes 2 intensive residentials with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions each six days in length. Participants must commit to the programs a year long training event.
The location of the Practitioner Program is to be announced. For pre and post stays, please visit the Chapel Hill Carrboro Chamber of Commerce website. Sessions begin on Wednesday at 5:00 PM and end on Monday at 1:00 PM. AAMFT Supervision hours and NBCC credits are available. A successful completion certificate indicating number of contact hours is also provided.
